1 Год8141 был по воцарении4427 Саула,7586 и другой8147 год8141 царствовал4427 он над Израилем,3478 как выбрал977 Саул7586 себе три7969 тысячи505 из Израильтян:3478

2 две тысячи505 были с Саулом7586 в Михмасе4363 и на горе2022 Вефильской,1008 тысяча505 же была с Ионафаном3129 в Гиве1390 Вениаминовой;1144 а прочий3499 народ5971 отпустил7971 он по домам168 своим.

3 И разбил5221 Ионафан3129 охранный отряд5333 Филистимский,6430 который был в Гиве;1387 и услышали8085 об этом Филистимляне,6430 а Саул7586 протрубил8628 трубою7782 по всей стране,776 возглашая:559 да услышат8085 Евреи!5680

4 Когда весь Израиль3478 услышал,8085 что разбил5221 Саул7586 охранный отряд5333 Филистимский6430 и что Израиль3478 сделался ненавистным887 для Филистимлян,6430 то народ5971 собрался6817 к Саулу7586 в Галгал.1537

5 И собрались622 Филистимляне6430 на войну3898 против Израиля:3478 тридцать7970 тысяч505 колесниц7393 и шесть8337 тысяч505 конницы,6571 и народа5971 множество,7230 как песок2344 на берегу8193 моря;3220 и пришли5927 и расположились2583 станом2583 в Михмасе,4363 с восточной6926 стороны6926 Беф-Авена.1007

6 Израильтяне,3763478 видя,7200 что они в опасности,6887 потому что народ5971 был5065 стеснен,5065 укрывались2244 в пещерах4631 и в ущельях,2337 и между скалами,5553 и в башнях,6877 и во рвах;953

7 а некоторые из Евреев5680 переправились5674 за Иордан3383 в страну776 Гадову1410 и Галаадскую;1568 Саул7586 же находился еще в Галгале,1537 и весь народ,5971 бывший с ним, находился2729 в2729 страхе.2729

8 И ждал3176 он семь7651 дней,3117 до срока,4150 назначенного Самуилом,8050 а Самуил8050 не приходил935 в Галгал;1537 и стал6327 народ5971 разбегаться6327 от него.

9 И сказал559 Саул:7586 приведите5066 ко мне, что назначено для жертвы5930 всесожжения5930 и для жертв8002 мирных.8002 И вознес5927 всесожжение.5930

10 Но едва кончил3615 он возношение5927 всесожжения,5930 вот, приходит935 Самуил;8050 и вышел3318 Саул7586 к нему навстречу,7125 чтобы приветствовать1288 его.

11 Но Самуил8050 сказал:559 что ты сделал?6213 Саул7586 отвечал:559 я видел,7200 что народ5971 разбегается5310 от меня, а ты не приходил935 к назначенному4150 времени;3117 Филистимляне6430 же собрались622 в Михмасе;4363

12 тогда подумал559 я: «теперь придут3381 на меня Филистимляне6430 в Галгал,1537 а я еще не вопросил2470 Господа»,3068 и потому решился662 принести5927 всесожжение.5930

13 И сказал559 Самуил8050 Саулу:7586 худо5528 поступил5528 ты, что не исполнил8104 повеления4687 Господа3068 Бога430 твоего, которое дано6680 было6680 тебе, ибо ныне упрочил3559 бы Господь3068 царствование4467 твое над Израилем3478 навсегда;57045769

14 но теперь не устоять6965 царствованию4467 твоему; Господь3068 найдет1245 Себе мужа376 по сердцу3824 Своему, и повелит6680 ему Господь3068 быть вождем5057 народа5971 Своего, так как ты не исполнил8104 того, что было повелено6680 тебе Господом.3068

15 И встал6965 Самуил8050 и пошел5927 из Галгала1537 в Гиву1390 Вениаминову;1144 а Саул7586 пересчитал6485 людей,5971 бывших4672 с ним, до шестисот83373967 человек.376

16 Саул7586 с сыном1121 своим Ионафаном3129 и людьми,5971 находившимися4672 при них, засели3427 в Гиве1387 Вениаминовой;1144 Филистимляне6430 же стояли2583 станом2583 в Михмасе.4363

17 И вышли3318 из стана4264 Филистимского6430 три7969 отряда7218 для7843 опустошения7843 земли: один259 направился6437 по дороге1870 к Офре,6084 в округ776 Суаль,7777

18 другой259 отряд7218 направился6437 по дороге1870 Вефоронской,1032 а третий259 направился6437 по дороге1870 к границе1366 долины1516 Цевоим,6650 к пустыне.4057

19 Кузнецов2796 не было4672 во всей земле776 Израильской;3478 ибо Филистимляне6430 опасались,559 чтобы Евреи5680 не сделали6213 меча2719 или копья.2595

20 И должны были ходить3381 все Израильтяне3478 к Филистимлянам6430 оттачивать3913 свои сошники,4282 и свои заступы,855 и свои топоры,7134 и свои кирки,4281

21 когда сделается щербина6477 на острие6310 у сошников,4281 и у заступов,855 и у вил,79697053 и у топоров,7134 или нужно рожон1861 поправить.5324

22 Поэтому во время3117 войны4421 не было4672 ни меча,2719 ни копья2595 у всего народа,5971 бывшего с Саулом7586 и Ионафаном,3129 а только нашлись4672 они у Саула7586 и Ионафана,3129 сына1121 его.

23 И вышел3318 передовой отряд4673 Филистимский6430 к переправе4569 Михмасской.4363

Chapter 13

1 AND when Saul had reigned one or two years in his kingdom over Israel,

2 He then chose for himself three thousand men of Israel; two thousand were with him in Michmash and in mount Beth-el, and a thousand were with Jonathan his son in Ramtha of Benjamin; and the rest of the people he sent every man to his house.

3 And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews and all Israel hear the news

4 That Saul has smitten the garrison of the Philistines and that Israel has prevailed over the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.

5 And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, three thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude; and they came up and encamped in Michmash, east of Beth-el.

6 And when the men of Israel saw them, they were afraid; so they hid themselves in caves and in holes and in rocks and in clefts and in pits.

7 And some of the Hebrews went over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. But Saul was still in Gilgal, and all the people were with him.

8 And he waited seven days, according to the set time appointed by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal; and the people were deserting Saul.

9 And Saul said, Bring here a burnt offering to me, and he offered peace offerings and burnt offerings.

10 And as soon as he had finished making the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might bless him.

11 And Samuel said, What have you done? And Saul said, When I saw that the people were deserting me and that you did not come within the time appointed and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;

12 Therefore I said, The Philistines might come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not inquired of the LORD, so I ventured to offer a burnt offering.

13 And Samuel said to Saul, You have done foolishly; for you have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which he commanded you; for now would the LORD have established your kingdom over Israel, as he had said, I will establish you for ever.

14 But now your kingdom shall not continue; for the LORD has chosen for himself a man after his own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be a ruler over his people, because you have not kept all the commandments that the LORD your God gave you.

15 And Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal to Ramtha of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.

16 And Saul and Jonathan his son dwelt in Gibeah of Benjamin; but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

17 And raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies; one went toward the way of Ophrah to attack the land of Shual;

18 And another went toward the way of Beth-hauran; and another turned toward the way of the border that looks toward the valley of Zebaon and to the wilderness.

19 Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel; for the Philistines said, We do not want the Hebrews to make swords and spears;

20 But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines to sharpen every man his sickle and his ploughshare and his axe and his mattock.

21 And there was a broad file for the sickle and for the ploughshare and for mattocks and for the axe and to sharpen the goads.

22 So in the day of the battle, there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people who were with Saul and Jonathan; but Saul and Jonathan his son had them.

23 And the garrison of the Philistines went out to the passage of Michmash.

5 And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, three thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude; and they came up and encamped in Michmash, east of Beth-el.

6 Израильтяне,3763478 видя,7200 что они в опасности,6887 потому что народ5971 был5065 стеснен,5065 укрывались2244 в пещерах4631 и в ущельях,2337 и между скалами,5553 и в башнях,6877 и во рвах;953

6 And when the men of Israel saw them, they were afraid; so they hid themselves in caves and in holes and in rocks and in clefts and in pits.

7 And some of the Hebrews went over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. But Saul was still in Gilgal, and all the people were with him.

8 И ждал3176 он семь7651 дней,3117 до срока,4150 назначенного Самуилом,8050 а Самуил8050 не приходил935 в Галгал;1537 и стал6327 народ5971 разбегаться6327 от него.

8 And he waited seven days, according to the set time appointed by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal; and the people were deserting Saul.

9 И сказал559 Саул:7586 приведите5066 ко мне, что назначено для жертвы5930 всесожжения5930 и для жертв8002 мирных.8002 И вознес5927 всесожжение.5930

9 And Saul said, Bring here a burnt offering to me, and he offered peace offerings and burnt offerings.

10 Но едва кончил3615 он возношение5927 всесожжения,5930 вот, приходит935 Самуил;8050 и вышел3318 Саул7586 к нему навстречу,7125 чтобы приветствовать1288 его.

10 And as soon as he had finished making the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might bless him.

11 Но Самуил8050 сказал:559 что ты сделал?6213 Саул7586 отвечал:559 я видел,7200 что народ5971 разбегается5310 от меня, а ты не приходил935 к назначенному4150 времени;3117 Филистимляне6430 же собрались622 в Михмасе;4363

11 And Samuel said, What have you done? And Saul said, When I saw that the people were deserting me and that you did not come within the time appointed and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;

12 тогда подумал559 я: «теперь придут3381 на меня Филистимляне6430 в Галгал,1537 а я еще не вопросил2470 Господа»,3068 и потому решился662 принести5927 всесожжение.5930

12 Therefore I said, The Philistines might come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not inquired of the LORD, so I ventured to offer a burnt offering.

13 И сказал559 Самуил8050 Саулу:7586 худо5528 поступил5528 ты, что не исполнил8104 повеления4687 Господа3068 Бога430 твоего, которое дано6680 было6680 тебе, ибо ныне упрочил3559 бы Господь3068 царствование4467 твое над Израилем3478 навсегда;57045769

13 And Samuel said to Saul, You have done foolishly; for you have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which he commanded you; for now would the LORD have established your kingdom over Israel, as he had said, I will establish you for ever.

14 но теперь не устоять6965 царствованию4467 твоему; Господь3068 найдет1245 Себе мужа376 по сердцу3824 Своему, и повелит6680 ему Господь3068 быть вождем5057 народа5971 Своего, так как ты не исполнил8104 того, что было повелено6680 тебе Господом.3068

14 But now your kingdom shall not continue; for the LORD has chosen for himself a man after his own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be a ruler over his people, because you have not kept all the commandments that the LORD your God gave you.

15 И встал6965 Самуил8050 и пошел5927 из Галгала1537 в Гиву1390 Вениаминову;1144 а Саул7586 пересчитал6485 людей,5971 бывших4672 с ним, до шестисот83373967 человек.376

15 And Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal to Ramtha of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.

16 And Saul and Jonathan his son dwelt in Gibeah of Benjamin; but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.
